Of all the glorious beaches around Cornwall, 84 are listed as "Year Round Dog Friendly Beaches".
The Dog (Fouling of Land) Act 1996 still applies on these beaches and they are regularly patrolled by officers enforcing the act so please make sure you "clear up" after your dog or suffer the penalties!
Please also remember that beaches rarely have shade and little fresh water, so in very hot weather, the beach may not be the best place for your dog.
But neither is your car.
All other beaches apply Dog Bans, generally from Easter to 1st October.
